CDSE (II) 2012 Rejected Applications By UPSC

UPSC released a list of 734 candidates those are not eligible to write CDSE (II) 2012 this year. Reason for application rejection is non- payment of fee. UPSC did not find any confirmation of the fee from bank authorities on behalf of these candidates.

You can check your name in the list by matching registration id (10 digits) and transaction id, there might be many similar name so just search it by matching your registration or transaction id. If you have find you name and registration id in the list then you can appeal again rejection, read below for more details.

Appeal against rejection, if any, may be made along with the documentary evidence by speed post OR by hand only to Shri S.R. Meena, Under Secretary (CDS), Union Public Service Commission, Room No.321,Ayog Sachivalaya Building.  Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi‐110069. Appeal against such rejection should be received in the Commission’s Office    latest by 22.07.2012.

Airforce Reserve Merit list for July 2012 Course

Airforce released the 2nd reserve merit list for July 2012 course, few candidates got their name and in the 2nd reserved merit list, few of them are issued with the joining instructions. But they might not get the branch they opted for, the branches given to them are AE(L),AE(M) and Administration only. 

Merit Order:

53 SSC(M&W)-AE(L): There were only additional 4 vacancies for this branch so out of 57 only 4 got their name in the additional merit list and issued with JI. 

53 SSC(M&W)-AE(M): There were only additional 4 vacancies for this branch so out of 26 only 4 got their name in the additional merit list and issued with JI. 


25 SSC (M&W)- Administration: There were only additional 12 vacancies for this branch so out of 64 only 12 got their name in the additional merit list and issued with JI.

Do We Need SSB Interview Coaching Part II
SSB Interview is a 5 days process by including or excluding the day of reporting which depends of the type of entry, few candidates specially freshers are confused about the day of screening and day of reporting. Although one should have a proper information of 5 days process so that he/she can plan his/her journey accordingly.This post will tell you whether or not your day of reporting and screening is same.We will discuss the day of reporting by considering the different entries.

Q1. Screening test will be conducted on the day of reporting or next day ?

Ans: Again it depends on the type of entry and the instructions/timings written on your call letter, but the best way to remember is, whenever your reporting time is early in the morning like 0600 hours or 0700 hours then your screening is going to be conducted on the same day. AFSB [Air Force Selection Board ] follows this process, they also conduct the Psychological Test on the same day itself, so in AFSB Screening and Psychological test happen on the day of reporting. 
 
        Whenever your reporting time is in afternoon, like 1400 hours or 1500 hours then your screening test will take place on the next day of reporting, but you will go through the documents checks and form filling on the day of reporting. Mostly Indian Army and Navy follows this pattern, but again it may change like happens in TGC and SSC technical entries mostly, for TGC and SSC Tech, sometimes reporting time is early in the morning and the screening test happens on the same day but not the Psychological test, like AFSB. 
 
 

Q2. When will be my conference ?? 

 Ans: This might be very important to know if you are travelling from long distance and wanted to plan your journey conveniently. If you have the exact info of  SSB Interview schedule then you can book your return journey tickets correctly for your own comfort


How to Plan Your SSB Interview Journey : Suppose your reporting date is 1st January, this is how the things will happen  based on your reporting time on 1st January. Based on your screening day and conference day you can decide the day of return journey.

Technical Graduate Course-116[ TGC-116 ], which is a technical entry conducted by Indian Army twice every year for the course commences in IMA in January and July. Today Indianarmy.nic.in released  Interview dates for Army Medical Crop Feb 2013 Batch at AH (R&R) DELHI Cantt. Interviews will start from 16 Jul 2012 till 9 Aug 2012. The notification of examination for Army Medical Crops(AMC) comes out in the month of August -September Every Year.

UES 2013 and 2014 Indian Navy notification is out now, the initial selection procedure is little bit different from regular entries, candidates who have applied for the UES-Navy will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in BE/B.Tech and selected candidates will get the opportunity to attend the Naval Campus Selection Teams preliminary interview , one who clears the preliminary interview will get the SSB Interview Call Letter.

What is Naval Campus Selection Team ??

This team consist of Indian Navy officers who are responsible to pick the right candidates for further rounds of  SSB Interview. Campus/Locations for preliminary interview are selected by MoD Navy, and it will be alerted to the shortlisted candidates by an e-mail or SMS. 
Naval campus selection team comprise of the most talented officers from India Navy who will check you from top to bottom to judge you and check your suitability for further rounds, hence you are required to be smart enough to grab this opportunity. 

What will happen in Naval Campus Selection ?? 

Mostly the campus for this process is used to be a college or School, shortlisted candidates will go through series of test which are required to be pass by them for further process. 
Events : 
  • Seniors officers will address the candidates and tells them about the Indian Navy and the agenda for the day.
  • You will be lucky enough to listen their motivation speech, they will try more and more candidates to join Indian Armed Forces as an officer. 
  • Candidates will be allotted with chest numbers or roll numbers.
  • Kick start of the process. 
What may comes in test ?? 
  1. It will start with the written aptitude + technical test, it will be a very basic test and with little preparation you can score good marks in the written. 
  2. One who clears the written test will go for the further round, next round can be Picture Perception and Discussion Test PPDT. 
  3. Personal Interview: Selected candidates may go through a short personal interview by Navy officers.

  • Try to perform well in all test, if you fail do not get disheartened, life is full of opportunities. 
  • Know about yourself and Navy.

Indian Navy invites unmmaried male candidates for grant of Short Service Commission [SSC] in Executive Branch (Information Technology ) of the Indian Navy for Dec 2012 Course at INA, Ezimala, Kerala.

Eligibility: 

Educational Qualification :

  • BE/B.tech (Computer Science/Computer Engg/IT)
  • BSc(IT)
  • M.tech(Comp Science)
  • MSc(Computer)
  • BCA/MCA
Note: Not qualified and Final year students are not eligible 
Age: 
19 and half to 25 years born between 02 Jan 1988 to 01 Jul 1993( both dates inclusive) 

Selection Procedure :

  • Candidate will be shortlisted for SSB interview based on their performance in highest degree they have .
  • SSB interviews will be scheduled from July-Nov 2012 onward. 

How to Apply: 

  • Candidates are to apply ‘e-application’ (Online) from nausena-bharti.nic.in. Online link go live from  07 Jul 12 till  22 Jul 12.
  • After submitting the form, a ‘Application Number’ will be generated and appear on the printout of the form. If the system does not generate the Application Number, it is an indication of non-acceptance of Application by the system.
  • Print two copies of the online Application Form having the system generated Application Number. One copy of  this Application Form is  to be duly signed and mailed (posted) to Post Box No. 04, Chanakyapuri,  New Delhi – 110 021.
  • A superscription is to be made on envelope: ONLINE APPLICATION NO.______APPLICATION FOR SSC X(INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY) BRANCH- DEC 2012 COURSE Qualification ______ Percentage _____%. 
  • Attach the following documents:- Self attested photograph, Attested photo copies of 10th & 12th class certificates along with Mark Sheets, other educational certificates and mark sheets of all semester/years.
Note: 

  1. Application is to be posted through normal post. Application sent by Speed Post/Registered Post/Courier/e-mail will not be accepted.
  2. Final receipt of  the printout of the Online Application Form with system generated Application Number and all documents as mentioned above if received by 31 Jul 12 will be the final CONFIRMATION of receipt of your Application at IHQ MoD (Navy). Hence, only filling the application Online/generation of Application Number does not imply that the candidate has fulfilled all the criteria given in the advertisement.
