” I do not get recommended despite writing very good stories”
” I have no chances of getting selected as I have left a story blank”
Well, these are some common statements which we make about our psychology after not getting recommended. So, I thought let me have a paramount understanding of our psychology.

After a lot of deliberations and confabulations, I have come to a conclusion. This conclusion would help each one of you to drive away the stigma and specter of poor psychology.
We all are different individuals crafted very carefully by the almighty. In the same way, we all have different types of responses and reactions to the stimulus. In the SSB psychological tests the stimulus is the hazy picture, the flashed word and the situation reaction test. By having a stringent time limit, you are compelled to write the first thing which comes to your mind. You are expected to write a natural response to the situation. So, practicing TAT, WAT, SRT responses can prove to be detrimental sometimes.
SSB-stage-2-psychology-test
After having a candid discussion with a psychologist, I came to know that the objective behind the psychological testing is to ensure that the person is mentally fit. He should have no major flaws in his thought process. For eg, a person with a terrorist mindset will write certain typical responses which would be picked up the psychologist. Also a person who is very delinquent will respond in another way, or a person who if full of negativity will respond in a particular way. Most of us have a strong background and an indomitable desire to join the forces. How can we err in the psychology?
To put it straightaway, we all have good level of psychological balance. We will sail through psychology if we don’t possess any immutable or incorrigible flaws in our thinking.
So I have come to a conclusion that we are special creations of the God. We have the courage and ability to protect our nation. Therefore, it is very unlikely that we have a erroneous psychology. We just have to do better in our GTO tasks and PI. So, without worrying too much about psych, concentrate on the other tasks and the world will be at your feet.
I hope I have helped in some way or the other, stay tuned to ssbcrack for more such insightful topics.
