AFSB, Air Force Selection Board
AFSB is the Air Force Selection Board, exclusive for Indian Air Force. There are four AFSB’s.
- AFSB Dehradun: This is Number 1 selection board commonly known as 1 AFSB. It is situated in clement town Dehradun. Its Address is: Clement Town, Dehradun- 248002. Its Telephone: 0135 – 2642269 and Fax: 0135 – 2640104
- AFSB Mysore: This is number 2 selection Board of IAF, commonly known as 2 AFSB, situated in Mysore. Its address is: CV Complex Sidharth Nagar PO Mysore – 11. Its Telephone: 0821 – 2526621 and Fax:  0821 – 2502836
- AFSB Gandhinagar: This is the newest selection board of IAF, inaugurated in 2012. This is number 3 selection board situated in Gandhinagar and is commonly known as 3 AFSB. Its address is: HQ SWAC,AF Sector 9 Gandhinagar and its Telephone: 079 – 23242600
- AFSB Varanasi: This is number four selection board of IAF, commonly known as 4AFSB. I is situated in Varanasi. Its address is: Varanasi Cantt Varanasi – 221002 and its Telephone: 0542 – 2503853 and Fax: 0542 – 2502836.
NSB, Naval Selection Board
There is one Naval Selection Board situated in Coimbatore, it is exclusive for Navy. It is commonly known as NSB-Agrani, its address is Naval Selection Board INS Agrani, Red Fields Coimbatore-641018. Its phone number is 1800-425-4599 and Fax No- 0422-2325957.
Selection Center East
It the selection center of Indian Army located in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. It consists of five Service Selection Boards of Army namely 11 SSB, 14 SSB, 18 SSB, 19 SSB and 34 SSB. Selection Center Central
It is a selection center for both Army and Navy. It is situated in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. It has got 3 boards for Army 20 SSB, 21 SSB and 22 SSB and one board for Navy 33 SSB. Selection Center South
This is also a center for both Army and Navy officer Selection. It is situated in Bangalore, Karnataka and has got two boards for Army, 17 SSB and 24 SSB and one board for Navy 12 SSB.
