Indian Coast Guard is the fourth armed force of India. It works in close collaboration with the Indian Navy. It was established formally in 1978 as an armed of the union. You can join the Indian Coast Guard as an officer of the rank Assistant Commandant. For doing so you have to undergo a process, which is the interview. The interview is called the Preliminary Selection Board and the Final Selection Board. Given below are some of the details related to the notification of advertisement for the ICG, various posts and further process.
Notification Indian Coast Guard
The Indian Coast Guard releases its notification twice a year, hence there are two batches which are enrolled every year. The notification for the 1st batch is released in the month of May and the applications are received in May-end and June-start. For the second batch notifications are released in November and the applications are received in December-start. It is however worth noticing that the duration for which the applications are received is very short (12-13 days) hence be very careful and try not to miss it.

Was there supposed to be the following comment here on this page – ‘why has Indian coast guard reduced the age limit for technical entry course 1/ 2015?’
I was searching about the same issue, and google directed me to this page. However, i can’t see the above comment here. I was hoping to see some replies/clarification(s) on the same, but there is nothing here in the comments-section, except me, talking to myself.
EDIT: alright! found the comment above. it was posted by an FB user. don’t know why it wasn’t visible earlier.
