Common Problems:
1. I did not save my application form and now while applying again it says duplicate entry or already registered : Please do not worry if it say so, that clearly means that you have registered , just send your docs with an application mentioning that you have applied but you were not able to save the form due to site crash.
2. Not able to fill properly: Use IE 5 6 7 only to fill the form, clear cache memory , if not try different browser or from different net connection ( a good one).

While filling out the ssc tech form, there is a column to fill in the mark details..
If i have scored 9.45 cgpa out of 10, and the university rule on converting cgpa to marks is (cgpa-0.75)*10 ; shd i have to fill (10-0.75)*10 in the coulumn of maximum marks and (9.45-0.75)*10 in the column of marks obtained or (10*10) in maximum marks and (9.45-0.75)*10 in the marks obtained column..please clarify sir.

sir, semester 7 is going on for final yr. but in application form,it shows that 7th sem marks mentioning is compulsary? also recruitment directorate not responding any of the calls? how shall i proceed further?

i am filling tgc 117 form in the marks section while we fill 2 section i.e total marks & marks scored it automatically fills the another 4 columns.in total 6 columns are filled.another 3 columns i.e SGPA (if applicable),CGPA/DGPA(Cumulative), % age of Marks based on Cumulative Grade /DGPA (upto 2 decimals) .we have to fill these columns or not.as there is no cgpa system in our university.only total marks and marks obtained are given.

i got my tgc 116 ssb call from bhopal on 28th oct,
first of all my date of birth is wrong in the website, it shows 10-feb-89 i.e. 10-02-89 but my actual dob is 02-10-89 i.e. 02-oct-89. i’ve checked in my form, i’ve filled my right dob. so what should i do. and second thing is that i got the mail about my ssb call but i do not have my form now, i somehow lost it after checking my dob, all that i have is my ssc(tech) form in which my roll number is different. is ssc(tech)-40 and tgc-116 is different from each other?

the d.o.b. is not an issue, it has happened with several other candidates. But you have lost the form which is going to create problem, there are many candidates in the past who were not allowed to appear for the SSB as they had lost their forms or didn’t reported with the asked form. SSC tech 40 course is different from TGC. Both are separate entries and roll number is obviously going to be different. I will advise you to start searching for that form coz that is one of the most important document needed to appear for the SSB.

I am in final year of EE. I have entered marks upto 6th sem. The notification states to get a letter signed by principal of the college stating “the exams would be over by 01 april, 2013”.

Open the html file, hit ctrl+ P and take the printout.
send all the docs mentioned in the advertisement, read the advertisement.
Sir, I have mistakenly filled my TGPA and percentage semester wise rather than cumulative percentage. Will it affect my selection? I do have my name in the SSC Tech-39, made the same mistake in that app. too.
I guess the cumulative % comes automatically as soon as you fill the maximum marks and marks scored ??? Anyhow , make the corrections in the form ( hard copy) and send it to them.
In mark-sheet, we have Cumulative of all semesters as CGPA(at end) and per semester TGPA/Percentage, not as above.Should i make changes in the application by editing or manually by pen?
Yes you can, also for your ease write an application and mention in it regarding the correction you have made, send it with the other attested docs.

Ex:- Sem 1 – TGPA 9.71 & % age – 87.39
Sem 2 – TGPA 7.91 & % age – 71.19
to 8th Sem and at end-> CGPA – 8.4 % age – 75.60
So, should need to only fill last two columns, I didn’t find any samples.Please suggest.

SIR plz help me out.I got an ssb call from navy for SSC GEneral service.IN it is written that those who had any backlog in history shouls not come,,but when the advertisement came it was written that only year back and current backlog people cannot apply but now this??is it by mistake because huge no of students would have got a back in history?do they meant baclog which are not cleared till now??
No Backlog history means you should never have any backlog, irrespective to whether your have cleared it or not. If it is written on the call letter then you have to go by that. I suggest you to call Navy to clarify in this regard.
SIR, one thing is clear , i have tried filling the TGC-116 form with different browser but its not getting registering the form , and now morning 10:00 am on 22 may, software have changed its functionality like we need to mention only “MAXIMUM MARKS” and then “MINIMUM MARKS” in first column and then all remaining 4 columns are getting filled automatically . So total all six coloumns are getting filled . But even though its not accepting the form ,Showing error:(“PLEASE ENTER % OF MARKS BASED ON CUMULATIVE / DGPA” of 1st semester )…. So can anybody tell me is any other also facing the same problem or not???? Sir please check by filling the form and put a article on to it….please sir !!!! Use internet explorer to fill the form.
i am not able to fill the form for the last 2 days because whenever i select any entry from a drop down menu the page shows an error.

Clear you cache and cookies, or else try another browser. Hope you have a good net connection too.
I have tried clearing cache, tried from 3 different browsers
and from different places… i dont know what the problem is

Akshat , try to register from different net connection, may be from your friends place or cyber cafe.
sir i have asked people from many places to try and fill the form..
as soon as i select a state in the address part of the form, there is an error and no districts get loaded in the form. same thing happens when i select a state for selecting the university no university gets loaded in the drop down menus.
This is not the problem with others, that means problem is from your side only, I suggest you to fill it from other net connection with a good computer, use Internet Explorer 5 6 7 only.

Check the form submitted above by Shobit, he also have 7 sems. Hope you will get some idea.

I hope you filled all the details correctly before clicking submit button. Most of the candidates are facing the same problem like you, also in last TGC 115 this problem was very common.
Many who faced this problem, got the call letter because they got registered successfully.

You have lost your form due to website crash while registering, so you can not generate the form again.
What you can do is send the attested certificates and a letter saying that you lost the form while registering though you have registered successfully.

That is very common problem with Army website, sadly there is no way to generate it back.
But application form is needed at the time of SSB. Now whats the solution for this.
As I said it is a common problem so many are facing this problem. Do not worry , your call letter is sufficient .

For us we dont have 1st semester , First year only one semester .

am i eligible for tgc-116. should i submit the form as computer science engineering.
As you can see that IT branch is not mentioned there, but filling under CSE may not work, I am not sure regarding this. You can ask the concerned Army branch to clear your doubt.

Nd same case is wid d ernautical branch students, 1 of my frnd who hv done btech in aeronautical branch filled d form thru mechanical branch nd called d army branch 2 cnfrm dat whthr he can attnd d ssb or not,, dey said dnt wrry jus cum nd giv d interview…
Army is nt dat strict in documentation lyk navy n air force 😉
But 2 candidates applied with wrong branch got disqualified after getting recommend.
But anyhow there is not harm in applying .
