I am a 2012 passed out candidate.I have got call letter to attend SSB on February 9th at Bhopal.I don’t have that CGPA to percentage conversion form..Is it mandatory even for a passed out candidate to bring that form for SSB?..reply soon

I have got call letter for SSB, but i have one confusion.. in letter it is mentioned that for equivalency other than mentioned in the letter the candidate should bring the certificate. I have completed MCA.
can anybody help me that from where and how i suppose to get that certificate because as per IT standards MCA and B.Tech Computer Science are equivalent. In letter they mentioned B.Tech./B.E. Computer Science & Engg/Computer Science/M.Sc. Computer Science.

I got ssb date on 9 feb but i have gate exam on 10 is there any possibility of change of ssb date if so what is the procedure can any one help me plz

i think they have rescheduled some of the batches due to administrative , or too accommodate some other batches of other entries .things will be clear only after we get call up letter . but afait we have to report on 9 th feb . otherwise why they would care for sending sms after the dates being finalised

hil , i have been short listed for ssb for above mentioned course at ssb bhopal on 16 jan 2013 ( regular ) and 1 feb 2013 (absentee) as per pdf on indian army website . yesterday i got an sms from ssb bhopal tht my ssb is on 9 jan 2013 . after few hours again i got sms correcting my reporting date on 9 feb 2013 . but there is no new intimation is posted on website . niether i have got any call letter yet by post…. have any else has confronted this kind of situation… ???????

In the main list SSC-T 40 my name is there with center BHOPAL. So when i cross check with Bhopal list its missing, But afterwards when i check few more records. I found that DOB format is mistakenly taken for many of the candidates, So in the main my DOB is (5/11/1988)DDMMYYYY format , whoever in Bhopal center list DD and MM where misplaced so its showing 11-MAY-88(Which is wrong). So can u plz recheck the center wise list with Army HoQ and update us the same.

I applied for the SSC (Tech)-40 through online and been shortlisted and i have received the Call-up Letter to appear for the SSB .However, I failed to submit the hard copy of my application and the attested copies of Certificate by Post at the time of registration. I would like to know whether I am eligible to appear for the Interview without submitting the hard copy of my online application by post? pls reply me ASAP

sir ,i am from pune university where the common mass have have percentage between 50-60.why army is imposing marks criteria.if this so happen we will not get a chance to appear for technical entry.

those who are crying that they are not selected coz percentage cut of is 63 and they got lower should have realised all this when in btech. hard working people got call letters. its simple.

We can request them thrgh email to remove the cut off and give oppurtunity to all the aspirants. Same had happened during ssc-39th. The email id is (dir-recruiting6-mod@nic.in). But refrain using dis repectfull language.

@ admin…sir..as per the instruction mentioned in the procedure of filling the form of ssc tech -40 for the students havi qualification of B-TECH along with DIPLOMA in the same brach was to leave the fist semester colun mark of the …i.e to putt 00 marks in it …and in the second semester marks colomn ..it was advised to fill the over all % of diploma then …onward that is from 3 semester marks column btech marks are to fill onward upto 8 semester….

this procedure i m simplifying …..

1 ST SEMESTER — 00
2ND SEMESTER —DIPLOMA MARKS
3RD SEMESTER — BTECH 1ST SEM MARKS
4TH SEM– BTECH 2 ND SEM MARKS
5TH SEMESTER –BTECH 3RD SEM MARKS
6TH SEM—BTECH 4TH SEM MARKS
7 TH SEM MARKS– BTECH 5TH SEM MARKS
8TH SEM MARKS — BTECH 6 TH SEM MARKS…

TOTAL SEMESTER WE HAVE = 5 SEM (BECAUSE 1 ST SEMESTER MARKS AS 00)

AS PER THE NEW CUT OFF CRITERIA OF INDIAN ARMY…ie 63 % upto 6th sem …then 6 SEM OF B-tech 4 yr regular course SHOULD BE = 5th semester of MARKS FOR THE STUDENT who have qualification of btech along with diploma…

Guys don’t worry your names will definitely dome in the individual center list and if not in the updated list. For ssc-39 the same thing happened.
So chill 🙂
And even if it doesn’t, be ready TGC-117 notification will be coming shortly. 😉
Never ever blame our defense forces.Nobody conducts such an interview procedure the way the do it for us and us only.They are not even charging for the form also.

So Start Preparing and break a leg. 🙂

@ vinay Please check ya application form or contact army HQ as one of my firend is from mechanical and have 64% agg. even for 6 semesters he is having 61%… he got the letter everytime when he fill the form….so please chk it…..

sir,there should be no comparison b/w the OLQ’s and marks.i know i did some mistakes during my b.tech course and now when i am mature enough to understand all things but the system is such that it doesnt give chance to anyone to prove himself.sir,it had in my mind so i said it…really feeling not good
