Sir I have cleared my ssb from nsb coimbatore but i was declared medically unfit for airforce and navy and fit for only army. Since i had given army as my last preference during the filling of application form , will it affect my merit ?

will all those who are medically fit in final nda/na 130 list published by upsc on 07-06-13 be selected.total no of qualified candidates is 636

wnen will final merit list for nda-130 will be out.

i am selected in naval academy and do i have to give more test or exam to become office.is there any execution sending back student after being selected in the naval academy

and it is also possible dat the one’s with fit navy against their name under the rank of 475 who were not alloted anything are the one’s who have been called for naval academy because it was their 1st choice

In the last 128 NDA batch, about 460 candidates were accommodated against the total vacancy of 335.
In the current 129 NDA batch, the total eligible candidates till date are 430 only including 57 such persons whose medical report is still awaited.

SIR HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE IN NDA MINE RANK IS 492

Merit no. 205 and 505 got medical clearance from Army Hospital (R&R) on 21/12/2012, but their medical status yet not updated.

guys just got the joining 30th i am going in @kaushal i dont know for sure but i believe above 400

guys around 75 members are unfit n the merit list and 55 are still pending,i think nobody will be merit out this time

It will take a whole month to get updated fully.

509th rank was for army. For navy guys the list went a bit ahead to around 569. And after that, the Naval academy called guys from 523rd rank to 750 rank (not all, just the army guys i guess) for Naval board medical examination (just eyesight) and those who got fit were called for Naval academy. As my eyesight was -1D and -0.75D, i wasnt called for the medical despite having Rank 511. So don’t worry you have just 506 guys in merit list, i’m sure there will be none who gets merit out 🙂

Can Any body tell that whether all SSB passed candidates have been included in the Merit list or someone have been excluded from it.

guys,my rank is 456…. my first pref was navy and i was medically fit for it in my medical board but in the merit list it is showing my medical status as “fit army”… how is dat possible??? :-/
whom should i contact in this case?? how can they make such mistakes..??

Okay, so irrespective of the preference, all the medically fit candidates within 200 rank will be alloted service?
My rank is 103, and my last preference is army and im fit for army…

Wait for the list to get updated fully guys. Its not like they are skipping guys in it. Everyone will get in. They have to do manage the joining dates. So it could happen that a 3rd rank person gets joining date in the first list, while the 1st ranked didnt get . Don’t worry they all will be called.
Though in a random order.
Plus they will also be taking the medical status in account. For some guys who got unfit during medicals but fit in the appeal, they will be shown as AWAITED, and they will be termed ‘fit’ later on in the next list when the joining date reaches their rank.
505 is good, but depends on your preference and the number of Medically Unfit guys in between.

The Govt. is saying about the acute shortage of officers since a long time back. The main problem is that the accomodations in NDA, IMA, NA etc. are less. Though two new buildings are made in NA and the more candidates will be selected from this time.
And don’t worry, in this 129th course, everyone will be called like what happened in the 127th course. And the merit list will be updated between 4pm-5pm every 3rd day. It will not be updated on Saturdays and sundays. And most probably it will take an entire month. Don’t wait for call letters from NDA. If you got a joining date or you are having a good rank to get a joining rank, then start preparing. Download ‘joining instructions’ from NDA’s website.
And yeah make sure you get a reservation! Coz later the seats get full.
Another thing, Hope for the best, prepare for the worst 🙂

In NDA 128th, Army seats went up to 509th rank. So guys don’t worry, you will get in 🙂
And I was recommended from 14 SSB, Allahabad. My rank in merit list was 511 (army), and got left behind by just one rank (510 was medically unfit).
you never know when things take a U-turn.
So have your fingers crossed 🙂

NO….you can give an application for more time needed… but why do you say that you do not have it issued by CBSE ??
CBSE issues M.C. of every student and send it with marksheets to every school(my dad is a teacher),, simply go to your school and ask them about it.In case they refuse having it then approach CBSE head office.

my first preference was airforce…but actually i was not for it (pabt fail) now my second preference is NAVAC. WHETHER I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT MY NAME IN UPPER MERIT ? i am recommended from 14 ssb allahabad…

Hmm,I heard that the list is coming out on 10th, or around 10th. but you never know.
Anyways, I was recommended from 12ssb for the NAVAC,
but i am medically fit only for NDA Army, is anyone else out there just like me?
or can someone explain the likelihood of me getting an NDA seat, irrespective of my rank in the merit list?

I was merit out in the previous course NDA 128 course. There were just too many recommended candidates. 837. Hope this time i am not merit out

I analyzed some previous NDA lists and found that the courses that begin in December i.e all the odd number courses(e.g NDA 125,127 etc) have much less recommended candidates than even number courses(e.g NDA 124,126,128 etc). Eg. NDA 127 merit list – 580 candidates
NDA 128 merit list – 837 candidates
I realized that this was because 12’th appearing students can’t appear in odd number courses. Also i found out that almost ALL the candidates in odd number courses got a seat irrespective of their ranks. So sir, can you predict the scenario of NDA 129 course. I mean, will getting a bad rank(around the last ranks) also ensure a seat if a candidate is medically fit?
