Lt Gen Sadhna S Nair, Director General of Medical Services (DGMS) of the Indian Army and Senior Colonel Commandant, visited the Base Hospital, Lucknow, on 24 March 2025. The visit aimed to assess the hospital’s functioning and review ongoing and upcoming projects aimed at enhancing healthcare services and operational efficiency.
Brig Jasvinder Kaur Bhatia, Commandant of the Base Hospital, welcomed the General Officer and conducted a comprehensive tour of the hospital, showcasing various wards and departments. Brig Bhatia briefed Lt Gen Nair on the hospital’s achievements, innovations in patient care, and future projects aimed at improving medical facilities and training programs.

During her address to the troops, Lt Gen Sadhna S Nair expressed her appreciation for the unwavering dedication and exceptional service demonstrated by the hospital staff. She congratulated Brig Bhatia and her team on being awarded the prestigious GOC-in-C Unit Appreciation in recognition of their sustained efforts in maintaining high standards of patient care, education, and research.
