In a significant demonstration of integrated military prowess, the General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Gajraj Corps recently visited Umroi Military Station to oversee ‘Exercise Yudh Kaushal 2.0.’ This high-intensity exercise showcased seamless collaboration among the Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps, the Indian Air Force (IAF), Army Aviation units, and academic experts from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati).

The exercise emphasized the implementation of advanced Techniques, Tactics, and Procedures (TTPs), integrating new-generation equipment to enhance operational effectiveness. Key components included layered drone operations, maintaining an uninterrupted surveillance grid, precision firing integration, and rapid objective capture. This collaborative approach underscored the Indian military’s commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies and innovative strategies in modern warfare scenarios.

During his visit, the GOC also assessed the ongoing developments at the Thimayya Training Node, a facility being developed to bolster the Indian Army’s combat readiness within the evolving security landscape. Named in honor of General K.S. Thimayya, a distinguished former Chief of Army Staff, this training node aims to provide specialized training to enhance the operational capabilities of army personnel.
The GOC commended all ranks for their dedication and the successful execution of the exercise, highlighting the exceptional synergy and operational excellence demonstrated. He urged the personnel to maintain their preparedness for any operational contingencies, reflecting the Indian Army’s continuous pursuit of excellence and adaptability in the face of emerging security challenges.
