The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and readiness in the realm of tactical operations, as evidenced by their participation in the prestigious 15th All India Police Commando Competition (AIPCC) currently underway. The competition, organized by the CRPF under the aegis of the All India Police Sports Control Board, began on February 10th and will continue until February 22nd, 2025, at the CRPF Group Centre.

The event, themed “Beyond Limits, Toward Triumph!” showcases the intense drive and precision that define the essence of a commando. Teams from various police forces across India, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Railway Protection Force (RPF), and state police forces like Jammu & Kashmir Police, Karnataka Police, Telangana Police, among others, are competing fiercely.

The AIPCC is not just a test of physical endurance but a demonstration of strategic planning, teamwork, and the ability to execute complex operations with precision. Participants are engaged in various challenges that push their boundaries, honing their skills to stay ahead in real-life scenarios. The competition features compelling presentations by each team, highlighting their strategic approach and operational tactics.

This year’s competition has seen remarkable performances, with teams showcasing an unyielding drive to conquer the competition, embodying the spirit of #NationFirst. The CRPF, known for its historical dominance in such competitions, is leading the charge, with their teams demonstrating exceptional skill and readiness, a testament to their rigorous training and dedication.
The AIPCC has a rich history, starting from its inception as an intra-mural activity within the CRPF to now being a national event that draws elite forces from across the country. Past victories, like the Gold Medal win by CRPF’s Shri Gurbachan Singh Randhawa in the 1962 Asian Games, have set a high benchmark for current participants, pushing them to exceed expectations and achieve new heights in commando excellence.
As the competition progresses, the focus remains on mastering the art of strategy, precision, and teamwork, with each team aiming to not only win but to push their limits towards triumph, setting new standards in the field of law enforcement and paramilitary operations in India.
