Lt Gen Abhijit S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of Spear Corps, engaged with 69 NCC cadets, including 39 girl cadets, who participated in a 12-day training camp organized by the Indian Army.
During his interaction, the Corps Commander inspired the cadets to uphold integrity, take on responsibility, and dedicate themselves to the mission of Nation Building. He emphasized the importance of leadership and service in contributing to the nation’s progress.
The training camp provided the cadets with a unique experience of the #IndianArmy lifestyle, including physical training, drill practice, weapon handling, horse riding, and visits to the war memorial and various Army units. These activities offered the cadets a glimpse into the life of a soldier and instilled a sense of pride and motivation to consider a future in the #IndianArmedForces.
Lt Gen Pendharkar commended the cadets for their enthusiasm and commitment, encouraging them to channel their experiences into becoming responsible and capable future leaders.
