As part of the Navy Day 2024 celebrations, the Indian Navy’s Eastern Naval Command Band is preparing to captivate audiences in Hyderabad with a series of performances. The band, based in Visakhapatnam, will kick off the events on November 22 and 23 at Navy House, Bolarum, which will be exclusively for armed forces personnel and their families. The general public will have the opportunity to experience the band’s musical talents on November 24 at the Sarath City Capital Mall in Kondapur.
Rear Admiral Ashwani Kumar Tikoo, the Director of DMDE in Secunderabad, will serve as the host for the Navy Band Concert, which spans three days. The opening day, November 22, is expected to attract a gathering of veteran officers from the Tri-services, who will be in attendance to honor the occasion.
On the following day, November 23, the event will gain further prominence with the presence of Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, who will attend as the Chief Guest. Aside from the Governor, the concert will also draw Indian Armed Forces personnel, state dignitaries, and representatives from various organizations, highlighting the significance of the event within the broader community.
The performances are anticipated to include a diverse repertoire, showcasing the musical prowess and vibrant spirit of the Eastern Naval Command Band, providing an opportunity for the public to engage with and appreciate the contributions of the Navy and the armed forces.
