In a remarkable incident showcasing the swift response of the Indian Navy, a woman was rescued following a speedboat collision in Odisha, near the renowned Bali Yatra site. The event occurred while a naval diving team was conducting a survey of the Mahanadi River, preparing for the upcoming 2024 Bali Yatra festival.

As the team was engaged in their routine operations, they witnessed the speedboat accident, prompting immediate action. Upon reaching the police station, the rescuers faced another challenge: the absence of an ambulance to transport Ms. Das to a medical facility. However, demonstrating their commitment to ensuring her safety and well-being, the team swiftly arranged for an auto-rickshaw to convey her to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. This decision was crucial in mitigating potential delays in receiving medical treatment.
