India lost one of its bravest warriors, Nb Sub Rakesh Kumar of 2 Para (Special Forces), who made the ultimate sacrifice during a Counter-Insurgency (CI) operation in the Bhart Ridge area of Kishtwar, Jammu & Kashmir, on 9th November 2024. His courage and devotion to duty reflect the highest traditions of the Indian Army.
