The Assam Rifles organized a distinguished felicitation ceremony in Aizawl on November 5, 2024, to honour three exceptional Mizo athletes for their outstanding performances at the Asian Arm Wrestling Championship held recently in Mumbai. The ceremony recognized the athletes’ achievements and contributions to bringing pride to both their state and the nation on an international platform.
The celebration paid tribute to Mr. Denic Lalruattluanga, who secured a gold medal in the championship, earning him accolades as one of the top contenders in his category. Alongside him, Mr. Benjamin Lalawmpuia and Miss Vanramnghaki were also lauded for their achievements, each securing a silver medal and representing India with distinction in the Asian Arm Wrestling Cup 2024.
