Lt Gen AS Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding of Spear Corps, recently visited an Artillery formation in Assam to assess their operational readiness. During his visit, the GOC had the opportunity to witness firsthand the deployment of new generation equipment and innovative technologies aimed at enhancing combat efficiency.
The visit was part of the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts under the theme Year Of Technology Absorption, which emphasizes integrating advanced technological solutions into various military operations to boost effectiveness and readiness.
Lt Gen Pendharkar commended the Artillery formation for maintaining a high state of operational readiness, which is crucial for the defense capabilities of the region.
