The Indian Armed Forces took a significant stride towards enhancing jointness and integration with the successful conclusion of the two-day “Parivartan Chintan II” event held in the national capital.

Chaired by the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Anil Chauhan, the event brought together top military brass, including officers from the three Services Headquarters, Department of Military Affairs, and Headquarters Integrated Defence Staff, along with members of various sub-committees of the Chiefs of Staff Committee (COSC).

The primary objective of “Parivartan Chintan II” was to deliberate on the progress of initiatives aimed at fostering jointness and integration within the Indian Armed Forces.

With the overarching goal of achieving a “Joint & Integrated” end state, the event provided a platform for active discussion and brainstorming on vital reforms critical to the ongoing process of theaterization.

Throughout the two-day event, various COSC Sub-Committees presented updates on the progress of key initiatives essential for promoting jointness and integration across the military spectrum. These initiatives were identified as imperative steps towards transforming the Indian Armed Forces into a theaterized force capable of conducting Multi-Domain Operations effectively.

Under the guidance of General Anil Chauhan, the CDS, the discussions at “Parivartan Chintan II” revolved around expediting the implementation of these initiatives to accelerate progress towards theaterization.

Recognizing the importance of robust jointness and integration in enhancing operational capabilities, General Chauhan emphasized the need for concerted efforts to overcome challenges and seize opportunities for transformation.
