Lieutenant General RC Tiwari, the Army Commander of Eastern Command, embarked on a two-day visit to Manipur, aimed at assessing the operational readiness and preparedness of a field formation stationed in Leimakhong.
The visit, conducted on May 9, 2024, provided an opportunity for the Army Commander to interact with troops on the ground and gain firsthand insights into their operational capabilities and challenges.
During his visit, Lt Gen RC Tiwari conducted a comprehensive review of the field formation’s operational preparedness, focusing on various aspects such as training standards, equipment readiness, and morale of the troops.
He personally inspected key facilities, observed training exercises, and engaged in discussions with commanding officers and personnel at all levels.
Impressed by the professionalism, motivation, and dedication exhibited by the troops, Lt Gen RC Tiwari commended them for their exemplary service and commitment to duty.
