Captain Abhilasha Barak became the first woman combat aviator in the Army Aviation Corps. In the passing out ceremony of the Army Aviation Corps today at Combat Army Aviation School (CATS) at Gandhinagar, she passed out with flying colors along with 36 Indian Army Pilots. Captain Abhilasha hails from Panchkula, Haryana and she has cleared SSB interviews 4 times, later she joined the OTA Chennai for her training and got commissioned into AAD. She opted for Army Aviation Corps later and today she has become the first woman combat aviator of the Indian Army.
