Squadron Leader Samir Abrol and Squadron Leader Siddhartha Negi two young fighter pilots of Indian Airforce lost their lives after the upgraded Mirage-2000 crashed on a test sortie at the military airport in the city’s eastern suburb. Both the pilots were young and had a promising future, they were few youngest test pilots our country had. Both the pilots were married, SSBCrack expresses deepest condolences to the family. The crashed Mirage-2000, which was upgraded by HAL, was developed by French aerospace major Dassault Aviation.HAL is conducting an upgrade of the Mirage-2000 fighter aircraft fleet of the Indian Air Force under a deal signed with France.
