Congratulations to all those who have cleared NDA 2 2016. Now the main task starts here. The selected candidates will face the selection boards, where they will be tested for their final selection. The opportunity is very crucial and is the golden chance for all Armed Forces aspirants as the selection rate and vacancies are high in NDA as compared to other entries. Now heading to what the selected candidates must do further, the efforts are always required to go through the next stage. The freshers need to get an overview of what happens in the SSB schedule and repeaters have to introspect themselves and find out the place where they are lacking. Some tips for freshers and repeaters are –
Freshers
- Go Through The SSB Pattern – The freshers are advised to go through the SSB pattern and get the basic idea about the tests and tasks.
- Raise Your Physical Fitness Level – Freshers, who have entirely focused on their academics should stay a bit fit for performing well in ground tasks.
- Blind Following Can Take You Down – Freshers sometimes blindly follow others as they have no idea about the selection procedures. Try to consult any legitimate source for it.
Repeaters
- Introspect and Overcome – Repeaters have once gone through the SSB schedule and they would have introspected themselves. It is a good thing to work hard. But is rather better to work hard in a smart way. So check your mistakes and overcome them, which will worth your efforts
- Don’t Exaggerate – It is usually seen that repeaters try different strategies to get recommendation. Exaggerations and opting false traits infect your personality.
- Don’t Follow Others – Once seen the SSB schedule, repeaters take the help of other recommended candidates and try to adopt their traits and some of the candidates starts cramping things from SSB material which reduces their chances of recommendation. So avoid it and show your Genuine Personality.

- Keep all documents ready for the SSB
- Arrange all required material for SSB like formals, GTO dress shoes etc.

Those who could not make it this time in NDA 2 2016, should not give up. Work hard, go through the previous exam papers, find out your weak point, work over it and get it clear next time.
