CDS 1 2017 forms are out and all SSBcrack followers are altered to apply for it as per its eligibility criteria. The exam is conducted twice a year and provides chance to join Air Force, Navy and Army. Some important points about the examination are –

2 ½ months are left for the exam and dedicated candidates have started preparing for it. But it is better to follow a pre-planned strategy to clear an exam rather than making directionless efforts. So candidates can go through the below tips to make a strategy to clear the exam.
G.K. – G.K. is the main part of the exam and the decider of your selection. The candidates have to excel themselves more in G.K. It is not a scoring part of the exam. You need to get passing marks in it and score in the other two papers. G.K. consists of questions related to the subjects of science, commerce and arts, some military basics and current affairs. For that you need to perform well in your respective subjects and brush up your current affair knowledge. Take help of online current affairs websites, periodicals, magazines or other sources for raising your current affairs knowledge.
English – In English, aspirants must start reading newspaper, especially editorial pages. Focus on the vocabulary and sentence arrangements. The last CDS exam, CDS 2 2016, was lacking Antonyms and synonyms, but it can be faced in the next exam, as those were always kept in the exam previously. English is the scoring part of the exam for those candidates, who have good hold over English. Candidates who are not good at English need to make a good grip over it to get over the sectional cut-off.
Maths – Maths is the lengthiest part of the exam. Most of the candidates are capable of performing well in maths. Those who see English as a backdrop, can take maths as a scoring part. All that matters in maths section is the speed coupled with the accuracy of your answer. Trigonometry and geometry puzzles candidates. Usually calculus part is easy to attempt. Keep practicing form sample papers and practice papers.
