  1. China Raises Its Tibetan Force Command’s Rank – The move that was recently reported, aims at expanding the scope of military preparedness and missions in the respective area. The step of raising the command’s authority is believed to take it under the PLA’s forces.
  2. China’s Concern over India’s NSG Membership – China has showed its opposition in providing India, the membership of NSG (Nuclear Supplier Group). China supported its move by saying that all NSG members are aiming to safeguard the Nuclear Non-Proliferation regime. On the other hand, U.S has given its support to India for joining the Nuclear Supplier Group.China vs Indian Fight Army
  3. Trade Route From China To Nepal – China has extended its hand toward the buffer nation between China and India i.e. Nepal. China has recently announced for setting up of a road and rail route to Nepal focusing on trading. Earlier, India’s intervention in the constitution and blockade issues in Nepal made the relation sour. The rail track goes to Tibet territory and the route then changes to the road. Earlier, fuel deal between China and Nepal that relieved Nepal from dependency for fuel on India, raised concerns in India.
  4. Folk Singer’s Deployment and Expansion of Disputed Island – The deployment of a folk singer on the disputed island in South China Sea once, again took the dispute around the tables. Earlier, construction of airstrips and further deployment of artillery weapons on the island made the issue more serious.
  5. LAC Demarcation Problems between India and China – NSA Ajit Doval and his Chinese counterpart Yang Jiechi in the 19th round of boundary talks in Beijing, raised the issue of LAC. The outcomes are still to be finalized and the issue is still a point of discussion between both the nations. Whereas China gave indications that is not up for demarcation of LAC.
  6. Masood Azhar Issue – China has supported Pakistan to oppose India’s proposal to U.N nations to ban Jaish-e-Mohommed chief Masood Azhar. Sources reported that nations like France, U.S. and U.K. supported the proposal, but China’s opposition as a veto power holder, took the matter into cold phase. China had done the same thing in past after Mumbai attacks.

Conclusion – China and India are the top growing powers in Asian region. Both the nations are handling tough circumstances and several major issues are surrounding China. U.S is catering the talks and issues between both the nations, but China seems to be uncomfortable with the intervention of the U.S. in between. China has recently made a comment saying that China and India are capable enough to sort out their issues without interference of any other nations. Well, this move can be actualized by parallel efforts form both the sides.
