INDIAN ARMY GETS 210 OFFICERS AFTER PASSING OUT PARADEÂ OF EIGHTH BATCH OF OTA GAYA The passing out parade (POP) of the eighth batch of trainees of the Officers’ Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya was held on Saturday, the 12th December 15. A total of 144 cadets of the Technical Entry Course (TES), who completed their Basic Military Training from the Academy, passed out and got commissioned as officers. In addition, 66 Special Commission Officers got commissioned into the Indian Army.
The passing out cadets participated in a parade, which culminated with the Passing Out Course stepping on the shimmering stone of the ‘Antim Pag’ ( the Final Step) Commissioned Officers from lower ranks of the Indian Army. The POP of OTA Gaya this year was reviewed by Lt Gen KJ Singh, GOC-in-C Western Command.
