Challenges Ahead
The operating system is not yet perfectly implemented. The OS was initially released in 2007, but the adoption of this OS is seen low in government offices and departments. But the version, which will be released next week and is developed by DRDO and Gujarat t\Technical University along with some computer experts is expected to be much better in performance and security phase.
It is not the first time that India has made such steps in IT sector. ISRO has also made its own app known as SAKAAR for android devices with ICS 4.0.3 and above.
