Are Officers Like Qualities Present In Me

OLQ’s or officers like qualities what are these? Where are they looked and how do they look it? These questions have been raised by many of the aspirants from time and now to me so I thought of answering this on this forum. First let me make very clear what Officers Like Qualities are. Defence forces take entry for their officers through SSB in which these qualities are judged through three rounds namely psychology, PI and GTO. Now SSB is a place where a person is tested for five days in and out and then he is honoured with that coveted title of being an officer and serving the motherland. SSB is all about yourself, your being a person, living life, achievements, academics and what not. You will be forced to revisit your full life in these five days ad whatever you do and say through that your qualities will be assessed.

Are Officers Like Qualities Present In Me

Defence forces look for 15 OLQ’s only which they believe if present in a person are sufficient and he or Officers Like Qualitiesshe then is a trainable material. Rest everything is the responsibility of training academy where they are converted to officers through rigorous schedules and time table. So aspirants don’t worry if you Officers Like Qualities no one will be able to stop you. Now people have been asking me through mails that they don’t have Officers Like Qualities or some even comment that they have introspected and could not find anything. Let me share the research data with you people here that everyone have all the qualities but their degree matters and that depends on their background, upbringing, environment they live life, what type of people they are surrounded with. All these things shape their psychology and this is what we test at SSB.

So the need is just to do proper self-introspection which needs deep study of important life events to gather the qualities and the weakness. In my personal mentorship program that I provide to aspirants personally I utilise certain tools for the same which facilitate easy study. Life events are discussed through counselling sessions and then the psychometric profiling is done. Here only one to one individual guidance becomes handy because these things are not possible in large groups. Once these things are over we have what to improve and what to maintain and then the practice of various rounds begin.

This should be the ideal cycle for any defence aspirant preparation. On contrary I have seen aspirants starting with practice set directly, reading others stories etc. and applying the same in their life. Believe me everyone is different and it can cost you screen out or conference out also. So follow proper steps and only facilitate under experts for individual guidance. Start early so that you have time for improvement. Still If you have any confusion or query drop me a mail at [email protected] or add me on Fb and drop in a message. It would be a pleasure assess and guide for preparations. You all have chosen the right path so just keep following the right track and earn your uniform to serve the motherland.
