The Best Ways To Achieve A Healthy Personality

Personality of an individual plays a major role in enhancing the career prospects hence assumes a great importance. Since the desired personality can be acquired with appropriate effort, channelizing energy of the youth in improving their spiritual health will enhance their personality. This article aims to evolve the ways and measures for personality development with particular reference to spiritual health through meditation and yoga.

Although all major factors of a personality are shaped up at a very early stage of childhood, they just need a deliberate effort by parents and teachers to develop them.  However, when we are grown up, adopting yoga therapy, pranayama and meditation is the best way to channelize the energy of ourselves and to be more useful members of the society. Meditation:  Our mind mostly concentrates on an unhealthy factor such as on lust that automatically leads to agitation and make the mind distracted. Therefore, meditation is one of the best ways to concentrate on healthy factors and make our mind stable. 
Pranayama: Pranayama means a pause in the moment of breath. The practice of Pranayama introduces higher pressure in the central canal of the spinal cord and brain.  .  The spiritual advantage of Pranayama can help to develop an individual’s personality by developing healthy and positive factors such as social adaptability, self confidence, positive attitude, courage, self restraint, correct physical attributes, and power of expression, integrity, determination and accountability. 
Yoga: Yogic breathing is used to maximize inhalation and exhalation.  Its purpose is to gain control of the breath, correct poor breathing habits and increase oxygen intake. This practice cools the body and mind and reduces mental and emotional excitations. It also helps to relieve stress and cerebral tension, alleviate anger, anxiety, and insomnia and reduces blood pressure. There are many kinds of yoga which are recommended to be practiced such as Saithilya Asana, Shalabhasana, Marjari Asana, chakrasana; etc in order to recover many diseases but these should be practiced under proper guidance of an expert.
