Dude, India Needs You!

This is a request for all to spare 10 minutes and read this piece, think upon it and share if you want. To begin with I would like to say that long gone are the days when ‘Country’ used to come first for us Indians, living in a materialistic world which is created by us only, we now also think about our country but this is the problem, that we only ‘Think’ and not ‘Act’. Everybody has a kind of patriotism inside them; remember how excited we used to be in primary school for the national festivals, slowly this excitement increased because we started waiting for a sure holiday in the form of 15th August and 26th January, now we don’t even care much. Now some of us do care but can’t act, some of us care and act as well; I believe we all must start to fall in the third category. Patriotism is something which is inborn, and I believe every Indian has it, it is inside you, you just have to realize.

Now coming directly to the point, I am now going to tell what I want to say through this article. India is guarded by the three major forces of defence, Army, Navy and Airforce. For any country these forces are very important, and Indian Defence Forces are filled with the best officers. Yet there is a shortage of officers, why? Because the forces don’t compromise with the quality, which is very right thing to be done, as it takes courage and determination to go and fight in extreme conditions. My point is that today’s youth, most of us are deprived of this feeling of working for the country, working in the forces. No doubt there are people who are totally passionate and gaga about fauj, yet there are people who don’t even want to try.

 

The forces need the best, hence each one of us, who fill the eligibility criteria must go and try at least once. I have heard specially form top engineering students that they rather prefer corporate jobs, but seriously it is a request that you should at least give a thought once and try for fauj. Medical students, who have the brightest future in the private jobs, must also try. As our faujis who fight on the border need the best doctors to take care of them, I know you’ll get a little less of what you’ll get in private job but trust me the feeling you’ll get after working for the country will be incomparable. Give only a single chance, but do go for the SSB once in your life, who knows you turn out to be one of the bravest solider of India. The government takes care of everything right from your travelling to the food; all you are required to do is go!

There have been some of the bravest soldiers; the main aim of their lives was to serve in the forces, read their story you’ll be filled with motivation. The more number of options you get in ice-creams more are the chances for getting the ice-cream that you want, same is the case with the selection of officers the more of us go there the more becomes the chance of them to find the people they need. All in all it’ll take just a few days of your life and you’ll be able to live the best five days (at SSB), and if you get selected then the whole life will become something different. Inspire others to try for fauj, you’ll feel eventually that you are doing something for the country!

Somehow “One star on the shoulder is better and brighter than a thousand in the sky” .Inspire, get inspired and join the Indian Army, Navy or Airforce for an experience you’ll cherish and love, a decision you’ll always be proud of that you took. Dude! India needs you; yes you only, and each one of us.
