All engineering graduates and Indian army aspirants applying or applied for TGC-117, now you can download and reprint your TGC 117 online application form if you have missed it or unable to save at the time of applying. Surprisingly, this feature is unable in joinindianarmy portal now, lots of candidates have faced problem due to lack of this feature which is very common in other defence portals.
How to Take Reprint of TGC-117 Application form:
- Go to joinindianarmy.nic.in
- Go to Officer’s Menu on the top navigation.
- Select How to Apply –> Online Application—> TGC 117.
- You may find the link at the top to reprint your TGC-117 application form.
- Click the and enter your roll number or email id. Done
I haven’t check wheather this functionality is working correctly or not, you can check this new feature and let us know if it works for you. Thanks to Indian army for adding this feature, it will help lots of candidates for sure.

SUBJECT: Removal of Cut-off Criteria (read in full)
Dear Friends,
I think the criteria of B.tech. percentage cut-off to select the aspirants to appear before SSB is not right.
The need to remove this cut-off criteria ( or to introduce a common test) is of Supreme Importance to us.
I appeal to all my friends to take this matter on high priority as IF NOT NOW, NEXT CHANCE WILL NEVER COME.
we can do following things:
1. Humbly request Recruiting Directorate by informing them about our concerns and zeal and josh to join Indian Army.
2. In gentlemen way, we can further appeal to Defense Ministry to look into the matter ( as it a matter of thousands of genuine candidates aspiring to join Indian Defense Forces).
3. We can also move the Supreme Court to suggest the introduction of common entrance exam for this.

hi all actually saw the list but my name wasnt there,the thing is-my percentage of marks satisfies the cut off and all other factors such as age,my university,degree,my marks card and almost everything was fulfilling the conditions mentioned.i evn posted it on the correct date since my tgc wasnt to be applied online and had to be sent thorough post only.I had filled every details correctly.what could have been the possible reasons for rejection?anybody having idea related to this please reply soooooooooooon:):)

sir..i am in my final year of engg. i.e 7th semester…so i can fill my marks upto sixth sem only. and should i tick ‘is appeared/marks pending’ option..?
sir.. i just filled the TGC-117 application form.. while i am filling that i dont know my collge is under UGC. because it has been mentioned in the application only UGC. but our college is under AICTE approval. i just thaught that AICTE is different with UGC. so firstly i mentioned it option NO. then my application was rejected. after that i got an page that as ur college is not under AICTE ur application was rejected. then i understood that AICTE comes under UGC. then again i filled the application with another email id. then it is accepted. i just want to know whether my application will be accepted or not.. i am totally tensed sir. plz give me reply what will happen to my application. plz sir..
Do not worry, if you are above the minimum criteria set as per eligibility mentioned in the notification you will be called.
my university has grade system…..i have applied for the application and printed my form too. i would just like to know that is is necessary to post the cgpa to percentage conversion certificate along with form or producing it during ssb will be fine??????somebody plz answer
Better get a copy from the university/ college to be in a safe side.
You will have to produce it when asked for also it is mentioned in the terms and conditions list
I have filled my second semester marks as 79.06 instead of 70.96 by mistake. Havent sent the printed form yet. How can i get it corrected because the documents that ill send with the form will contradict my marks for that particular semester. please help
sir i have filled my TGC-117 application in mozilla firefox…But it was advised to do it in internet explorer. i have submitted the application..will it cause any harm to my application??..or will they reject my application as the format could be different.??
