i have cleared nda 2 written exam .. i have following queries
1. when i will get call letter.
2. do i have to submit original certificate at the address mentioned by them or not.
3. am i eligible to join IAF if i ticked it as second preference & army as first..

it is very important to score good marks in written out of 900.
SSB is also conducted out off 900 marks in which interviewing officer has maximum marks that is around 450. The other 450 is divided among GTO and PSYCHOLOGICAL officers.
After your SSB and MEDICAL merit list is announced by upsc in which written exam marks and ssb marks both are considered . IF YOU HAVE YOUR NAME IN UPPER MERIT THEN YOU CAN JOIN THE ALLOTED SERVICE SAY ARMY,NAVY,AIRFORCE OR NAVAC.
but sir in the medical status for armed forces it is mentioned that cervical ribs with no neurological and circulatory deficit are acceptable…n i have got the checkup done from AIIMS. the doctor said i was normal despite the presence of cervical ribs… can still this be a major problem for rejection?
sir i have cervical ribs on either side of the chest and i have not faced any problem in functioning of any body part so far. i am 18 years of age. what are my chances in armed forces selection medical if i get recommended in any ssb??????????

Sir,
I am recommended from 12-SSB, and I had given NA as first choice, after the medicals, I am only fit for NDA-Army, due to eyesight. Army was my last preference in the options, do i still stand a chance?
Please reply, as i recently observed that last years’ merit lists had separate lists for NA, AF and ARMY/NAVY.
I am very worried and eager.

sir i have beeen recommended for nda 129 (army). i was temporarily unfit. i filled in northern command hospital,udhampur as my preference. bt eastern command hospital has been alloted to me. i contacted the authorities nd they said nothing can be done. Can i change the hospital?
Hi Amit,
Changing hospital only delay the process for you because all your docs has to move towards allotted hospital. Due to this tedious transfer process of docs, authority may not find it convenient to change your hospital again, because it requires more and more paper work and time.
You can go for eastern command hospital, all the best.

the medical fitness is always considerd,
possibly the merit published on UPSC website (upsc.gov.in) does not include the medicals. Bcoz it is just a tentative list.
But the merit list published on joinindianarmy.nic.in includes the Medical bcoz it is the final one, which leads to the joining of a cadet.
sir i am recommended from 21 ssb bhopal for nda 129 course…i am only fit for army and my marks in written are about 350 …also i was not a border liner in ssb….what are my chances to get merit in?pl reply

both your Written and SSB marks are equally important…
so first thing is: dont worry too much,
and second is: keep a backup line such as Engg.
if unfit for airforce and navy can a person be fit for naval academy

If you are in the top of merit, say within 200 or so, you will be selected for Army even if your choice is last.
Krishna, U have been called up for the SSB interview for AirForce,which means ur NDA written marks are good.
so dont worry, u will acquire a good position in merit list and will be joining the academy with me, even if the service is diffent..

sir the call letter for nda 129 says that candidates are required to produce print of their online application at ssb centre. but i dont have the application print our. from whre can i get it? i have the upsc admit card. plz reply soon……….

Hello..I am shortlisted for 129 Army SSB @ SCE, ALLAHABAD. I am not able to find any further details with respect to Date, time and other hygiene contact details pertaining to my ssb. Only Bhopal SSB centre details are update on http://www.joinindianarmy.nic.in/.

sir I hav cleared afcat ssb. going for my medicals on 10th of sep. but naturally I hav 13 dental points of which one teeth was removed long tym ago bcoz of cavities. wil I b rejected? rest I m fit.
You may get TR, because minimum 14 dental points are required to be fit.

sir,I have seen my roll no in results of NDA & NA II 2012 and also i hav received a msg on my cell phone about my ssb ie going to start in Bhopal from 22 sep,12. but i cant find out my roll no. in bhopal list on joinindianarmy.com as well as on your link. i havent recieved my call letter yet. my roll no. 284544 and name ABHISHEK JAIN. although my name and roll no. appears in NDA 129th Centre allotment.pdf but still not in NDA-129th Bhopal SSB.pdf . please help me out.

Marksheets gets publish in UPSC website.
For NDA-128, marksheets were not published by UPSC despite its promise earlier. But from the final merit list of 837, approx 450 have been selected for NDA-128
Sir its not published yet by upsc not even the final merit list by ARMY HQ, last list shows call til 570 rank but 727 ranked candidate has also been called for Naval Academy.I cant find transparency in their procedures.

Yes, it varies, and depends on the no. of drop outs of previous batch, etc. Average, one can expect 450 entries per batch..

14 dental points are related to your teeth.
one upper teeth forms a pair with the teeth directly below it.
these teeth pairs are awarded points.(taken as one entity)
->front six pair of teeth are of one point each.
->remaining other pairs of teeth are of two points.
only perfect teeth pair are awarded points.
total point>14

It is not a good option to attended something in which you are not eligible.
i will suggest you to appear bcoz u will understand the testing procedure and will experience a ssb test to …………..and this experience help you in your next ssb test ………………..and whome you asking for suggestion e himself is
