The UPSC will conduct the examination for NDA (II) 2012 on 19th August, 2012 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 130th Course, and for the 92nd Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July 2013.

Age limits: Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1994 and not later than 1st Jan, 1997 are eligible.
Candidates appearing in the 11th class exam are not eligible for this examination
Those candidates who have failed INSB/PABT earlier are not eligible for Air Force
Qualification: 12th Class of 10+2 for Army and with Physics and Math for AF/Navy
Marital Status : Unmarried
Last Date For Receipt of Application: 04.06.2012(MONDAY)
Date of Exam: 19.08.2012 (SUNDAY)
Result Date: January 2013
Likely SSB Date – Jan to Apr 2013(SSB can sometimes get very delayed, so this is just for reference)
Vacancies Per Course – 355 [(195 for the Army, 39 for Navy,66 for the Air Force and 55 for Indian Naval Academy (10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme)].
Date Commencement of Training – Jul 2013
Training Academy – NDA , Khadakwasla, Pune
Duration of Training – 3 Yrs at NDA and then 1 Yrs at IMA, Dehradun

The result of the written part of the examination is likely to be declared in the month of April, 2013

Which rank are you taking about ? Merits is mostly based on your performance in SSB Interview.

Sir i cleared my SSB from NSB Agrani. I have been declared medically fit for army. In the written test i could not much of the maths section but in the Aptitude Section i did 85% correct. What are my chances of going to NDA? and approximately (a rough estimate) how many people get declared unfit during medicals?
Congrats, you almost made it for NDA, there is nothing to be worried about. 2 out of 6 gets some medical issues may be permanent or temporary . All the best cadet.
Admin according to my D.O.B. 06-06-1994 my total age is 17 years 11 months 9 days till date 15-05-2012.
And NDA age limit is 16-1/2 to 19 years.
So admin why i’m not eligible for NDA-2 exam.
Plz admin give solution i’m in trouble.

Can you tell me in which class are you ?? and you can see that you just missed it with lower age not the maximum age factor , I guess this is not the issue to be sad.

Good chances , only the list will tell you the rank which you are going to get, but the best thing is you will be in the merit.
