How to Tackle the Group Discussion in PPDT SSB Interview

38

The Group Discussion in PPDT is same as that of the ones in GTO series. We have observed every time, even in our day to day lives, that whenever we start a discussion something with someone, disagreement and conflicts hound to appear.   Disagreement causes dissatisfaction, disapproval and emotional disorder. Disagreement further means disapproval. To handle this, you need skill. How you react to a contradiction, as everyone is in a competitive mood is the plot of interest for the assessors. The System wants to see your reaction against contradiction. Whether are you able to be emotionally stable? Or are you able to maintain the degree of patient listening?

spot_img

Differences are ought and bound to happen and one should have the emotional stability to resolve the emotional disturbances and emotional disorders.

What is required to be done?

The Group Discussion warrants and invites your arguments. The assessors would like to see as to how much mentally cool and composed are you. The moment you speak — your tone, your selection of words, your gesture come which further create your acceptability in the group. Please do not seek an opportunity to stop the discussion. Qualities will come when the discussion ¡s alive. If you are able to draw the discussion in your favour, taking the consideration and the interest of your fellow members, that too with acceptable gesture and emotional order, you would hold a high chance to sail ahead.

GD+in+SSB
  • Managing the contradiction is more important rather than entering into contradiction. Being mentally composed means to remain cool, calm, balanced and lively to maintain the harmony.
  • Body language is an indication of your intention and mental language. Body language should not overpower your words. Without body language, you become neutral. The combination of speed and accuracy makes you sharp, intelligent and speedy.
  • The existence of Leadership is to manage the Crisis. The Crisis may be of any nature or at any place.
  • The role and responsibility of the basic intelligence is to decide and enhance your predictive value. Power is one of the psychological needs. Power is balanced by power. The structure of the society requires power and our very existence is to manage crisis.
oir test and ppdt

The main thing that will get you recommended in the Stage I is whether you speak or not. It is generally seen that aspirants with good stories, being rejected, and equally with normal stories being selected. The person who speaks considering the interests of the group gets recommended to stage II testing. They are interested in those aspirants, who will show their qualities in the next 5 days and not the ones who do not have enough confidence to do so. Find it useful ? Please do share and like it, post your comments in the comment box below.

Freshers Vs Repeaters in SSB Interview

59

freshers
Hi Friends SSB Interview is a very amazing experience for most of us. SSB Interview gives us lot of confidence to do well in our personal life and the challenges we might face in future, but most of us do not understand the way of SSB selection procedure and start commenting on the way its getting conduct, mostly the one who failed in the SSB interview.

Yes I am talking about the repeaters, you might have faced the person who had attended 1 -2 SSB interviews and start cribbing about the way of selection, some looser may comment on the dignity and honesty of the SSB board. Its a natural behavior of  few of us, but the rest of us still have the faith in ourselves that one day we will do it .It must come from inside , I am talking about the will to join the forces, a strong will makes the difference.
ssb recommended candidates bhopal ssb
Okay this post is basically for the repeaters and mostly to my readers who asked me few questions which I would like to answer in this post. Okay the most common question is ” Why I am not getting recommend ?
In fact you have attended so many SSB interviews and  you are unable to make it, where is the fault exactly ? the only person who can answer this is your assessors and you, assessors are not going to tell you about your performance so you have to analyze the things and try to figure out what is going wrong in your performance.
Also many repeaters just attends the SSB interview thinking as if this time their lucky star will shine and they will get recommend, SSB in not a cake walk, it absolutely looks simple but it is not. Why I am saying it looks simple because we always see some one from our batch is getting recommend in front of our eyes, we make some judgement like “ How come he got recommend? ” or few of us says ” Ye recommend ho gaya?? ab toh main kabhi SSB interview attend nahi karunga“. Again a common behavior, a judgmental behavior, instead of judging our own performance  we normally cry, SSB is not something which give us an assurance  that we will get recommend after 5-6 attempts, if you perform it according to the desired one then you will be in, in the very first attempt.
If you are a fresher then you have a good chance to showcase your talent and desire to join the forces, also the chances are more if you perform up to expected level. Yes you can take coaching in a good institute and it will always help you, few says coaching will change your originality, its absurd, one should have minimum sense of following the things, whatever you are learning in coaching you must analyse it and perform it in your own way, simple copy paste of coaching will never make you through. As a fresher coaching is 200% helpful but it must be from good hands and minds.
Repeater friends, please analyses your past performances, mistakes, practice hard, try to know what they want. Repeaters can easily break the code of SSB because they have an idea of what kind of candidates gets recommend. Please do not just simply attend the next SSB until you know where are you lacking and what exactly you need to do in the up coming SSB.
” Mostly the repeaters are those who have a weak psychology “
If you had 5-6 attempts and you are still unable to make it then the reason is weak psychology, you do not know what you should write in psychology test. You may be writing something which is fake and just trying to project something which you do not have, also you must be writing something which do not shows any OLQs of yours. Psychology can be  improved by practice, but also there is a chance that you are good at Psychology but not doing well in GTO. Anyways the main problem is of psychology because Psychologist never takes any chance of selecting a doubtful candidates ” its not easy  to impress the psychologist“. You can impress the IO or GTO by your looks and mannerism but in case of your Psychologist your Pen must do the job for you.
