A Tunnel Connecting Pakistan To India Found

0
Indian Pak Tunnel

Hello, Warriors. Watching a tunnel connecting the Indian side with Pakistan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan is one thing. The Border Security Force yesterday detected a tunnel from Pakistan to India in Jammu, except it was to utilize it for terror activities ahead of the Amarnath Yatra to south Kashmir Himalayas.

Believing news reports, BSF personnel have discovered an underground tunnel at Allah Maie Kothay area in RS Pura sector of the International Border in Jammu district.

The BSF was conducting an investigation earlier in the day after it found a portion of land had caved in near the international border. This has been the fourth cross border tunnel emanating from Pakistan side which has been detected by BSF since 2012.

Earlier, BSF had detected a 400-metre long cross-border tunnel along the International Border in July 2012 in Samba sector.

In May 2014, it found a caved-in portion of the tunnel in Chillyari border belt in Samba district, which was found 23 metres inside the Indian Territory.

Another tunnel was discovered in August 2014, which was approximately 130 to 150 metres in length along the Line of Control (LoC) and originated on the Pakistan side, near a forward post along Indo-Pak border in Jammu region’s sensitive Pallanwala sector.

The newly found tunnel is the latest alignment point of the 400-meter long cross-border tunnel which was found in July two years ago, BSF officials said.

The tunnel’s dimension is 3×3 feet and is approximately 10 feet below the ground and has a length of 30 metres from their end to this side.

They said that it was blocked on Indian side making it a dead end. They added that it had no exit as they could not complete it further and it came close to the border fencing.

In this regard, BSF authorities have handed over a protest note to Pak Rangers over the tunnel issue.

The detection of caved-in-portion of this tunnel close to border has exposed Pakistan, that cross-border tunnel was dug from Pakistan side into the Indian territory to carry out infiltration and smuggling from across the border, which was denied by Pakistan in the past.

Senior BSF officers have reached the spot to ascertain whether the tunnel could have been dug to facilitate infiltration from across the border.

Significantly, the latest tunnel has been detected only two months after terrorists from Pakistan had attacked the IAF air base in Pathankot and ongoing peace talks between Modi and Shareef.

Should issues like these be retaliated strictly or should India back its hand-of-friendship from Pakistan? What are your views?

8 Hacks To Build Confidence In SSB Interview

SSB Interview Tips

Hello, Aspirants, with the passage of time, we are getting great response from you. Your feedbacks matter a lot to us. Meeting several aspirants raised a point of how to tackle the lack of confidence in Personal Interview in SSB. Firstly, what is the significance of confidence in the Armed Forces? Armed forces are made to tackle some non-usual situation. Confident attitude is necessary to handle those situations. Along with this, commanding people under you and coordinating with commanders over you, is a job that needs confidence.

Now, what are the aspects of accessing the confidence of a candidate?

Confidence is proved by analysing three factors:-

  • Appearance
  • Words
  • Actions

Your appearance should be gentle like an officer. We all have met officers. If you recall their behaviour and appearance, they are not stylish, but wear the dress smartly. Similarly, your way of speaking also matters in judging your confidence level. So here we are having some point that candidates must follow to strength up their confidence level in personal interview. Below are some points that a candidate must reside in mind to appear confident in personal interview in SSB.

  1. Dress smartly – Your dressing sense shows your personal perspective. Be formal in dressing and avoid over fashion. Be gentle and perfect in dressing. It is the first thing that IO observes. Your actions and words are accessed after your dressing.
  2. Talk less and listen more – Your confidence is inversely proportional to your talking. Being extra frank can create problems. Listen carefully what is being asked, take a short pause and reply clearly. Speak what is necessary for your answer. Avoid spicing your answer. Command your sentences. Low confident candidates speaks more than what is being asked. And this takes them to a trouble.
  3. Phase-out insecurities – While appearing for personal interview, candidates feel insecure while sitting in front of then IO. Don’t hesitate while answering. He is also a human like you had also faced same stage in his life. Maintain your comfort level and be cool.
  4. Erect posture and eye contact – Your posture and eye contact are the physical traits of checking confidence. Your posture must be erect while sitting over the chair. And keep a constant eye contact with the IO. He checks it by avoiding you while you are answering. Low confident candidates, either slow down their voice, or starts watching here and there. Avoid this and measure your posture constantly with time. Sometimes candidates sit in a confident way but become loose after time passes. So mind your eye contact and keep your spine erect.
  5. Speak slowly and clear – Generally, low confident candidates fumble while speaking. This can be perceived by the accessors as ‘block minded behaviour’. To avoid this, have a sufficient gap between your words and answer the question in a limited way.
  6. It’s not hard to accept “I don’t know” – It happens many times that candidate faces a question that is out of his mind. Some low confident candidates speak out and starts bluffing and then to support that bluff they have to mount a huge heap of lies. Then why making your interview so complex? Go straight and politely say “sorry sir. I don’t know”.
  7. Don’t reassure your point, give bold example – IO sometimes probes you over a specific topic. A low confident person constantly reassures his point by repeating it. Don’t reassure your point. Give examples and answer clearly.
  8. Control your emotions – Generally candidates with low confidence shows conflict in mood and emotions. Shivering, vibrating legs, fumbling, etc. are traits of low confidence. Well, it is hard to control them at once. Practice for it. Talk to unknown people in a controlled manner. And your will power will overcome it.
