Pakistan
has slammed India’s decision to revoke Article 370 challenging to take the
country to the International Court of Justice (ICG)
Earlier
today India, by president’s ascent revoked article 370 of the Indian
Constitution, a provision which had granted the former state of Jammu and
Kashmir Special Autonomous Status.
The
abrogation of the state will bifurcate the state into two union territories.
Jammu and Kashmir will have a legislature, while Ladakh is to be a union
territory without a legislature.
Pakistan
has vehemently challenged this decision with a statement from the country’s
foreign ministry saying “Islamabad will exercise all possible options
to counter the illegal steps, being a party to the international dispute.”
The foreign ministry report further stated that Pakistan “strongly condemns and rejects the announcements made today by the Indian Government regarding the Indian Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.”
Pakistan’s foreign ministry claimed the part of the state in Indian control “is an internationally recognized disputed territory,” and “No unilateral step by the Government of India can change this disputed status, as enshrined in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolutions. Nor will this ever be acceptable to the people of Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan,” and has communicated its full commitment to the ‘Kashmir cause’ saying,
“Pakistan reaffirms its abiding commitment to the Kashmir cause and its political, diplomatic and moral support to the people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination,”
Security
and Foreign policy analysts believe that India will have to look at Pakistan
raising the Kashmir issue at all possible international forums, including the
upcoming 28 September session United Nations General Assembly. The Indian head
of state, Narendra Modi is scheduled to travel to the United States to address
the UN General Assembly session in September.

The Indian Army in step with government policies on environmental protection has launched an ecological initiative with employing E Cars for use of its officials in New Delhi in partnership with Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL), a joint Venture of Central PSUs under Ministry of Power. The introduction of E-Car in Army at Delhi was visualised on World Environment Day and launched on 01 Aug 2019 with flagging off the first lot of E-Cars for Indian Army by QMG, Lt Gen Gopal R. Army plans to operate the first batch of 10 E-Cars as a pilot project and develop further on this initiative and increase the number of E Cars in Delhi to ensure economy, efficiency and minimal emissions.
It is pertinent to mention that Army has always been at the forefront of environmental initiatives. Indian Army has a large number of Territorial Army Battalions (ECO) which have done a yeoman service in environmental protection initiatives such as forestation. Army units posted in remote and ecologically sensitive areas from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari have been carrying out various activities in close coordination with local populace to conserve the ecological balance and protect the environment.
Air pollution has been a major challenge in Delhi. Governments across the World are investing a lot of resources in fighting this menace. Electric vehicle technology has proved to be a viable alternative by reducing the carbon emission footprint. Indian companies like Tata Motors and Mahindra have taken a lead in R&D and manufacturing of Electric Cars. EESL has been the main facilitator in providing these vehicles to various Government agencies. Army’s initiative in encouraging these electric vehicles will go a long way in further development of this technology and its adoption for the general public in near future.
Hello, defence aspirants, I am Nitin Kumar and I got recommended for Indian Navy through SSC Observer entry from Bangalore. I am writing this for everyone who is dreaming for the uniform but right now struggling to get through ssb and have many attempts on the list ( and mostly screenouts), for those who have given up on their dreams and also for those who need some motivation to start their journey. I have given 11 attempts out which 8 screenouts, 2 conference outs and one recommendation. I just want to say don’t lose hope. A few days back I too was sitting at home and seeking motivation through repeater’s story from SSBCRACK blogs. I started my journey in Sept 2015 with a screenout and my last attempt before getting recommended was also a screenout, so don’t let the past decide your next ssb. Start reading a lot because knowing things give you the confidence to speak and listen more it will provide you patience throughout your ssb procedure may it be PPDT, GTO or your interview. Know yourself and be yourself inside out. Give your attempts like there is nothing to lose. Just hang on till you achieve your goal because the uniform is waiting for you.
In my last attempt, 55 reported at 2:30 and next day we had screening, OIR was easy as I did practice well for that and for ppdt logical story and confident narration will get you screened in. Day 2 was the psych test and it’s better if you let your thoughts flow in TAT, WAT, and SRT… Prepare SD by analysing before going there Day 3 and day 4 was GTO and I would individual performance as well as the batch performance will help you to do well GTO so cooperate. On day 4 only I had my interview and since it’s about you and your knowledge so it’s your show and expresses your every answer in a perfect manner. Finally day 5, it was our conference. I could feel every heartbeat when the results were being announced and I heard my name. I had goosebumps for the next 5 mins. It was finally a dream come true.
At last, I would like to say my parents and friends were my pillars of strength and didn’t let me fall in my toughest phase too and my best friend Harshit Singh didn’t let me quit throughout my journey.
