What To Do After NDA Written Exam?

1
NDA Ssb interview tips

Hello, Warriors! “I from NDA”. The three words; the words which ignites a very high of respect among defence aspirants and fills the person with pride. It’s the best, and the only ‘bestest’ thing that can happen to a die hard defence aspirant. However, accept it, only about 350 cadets make it to the NDA every six months. The rest being merit-out, non-qualified for SSB and non-recommended candidates.

Many aspirants have written the recently concluded NDA and NA examination, and there were about 5-6 lac applicants this time too. But, the big question, what should be done after the exam to join the defence?

Many aspirants take the exam this seriously that they even drop a year or two from their regular studies to prepare and join the prestigious institution. But, still, if in case, they couldn’t make it, their two whole years would literally be wasted!

So, the foremost thing to do is to plan. If you plan your way to success, your journey would be much easier. Planning for your life ahead is the road that will take you to earn that uniform. Planning and preparation are half the job done. Jot down your plans for life on a paper, just like a long term time-table. Even though it may look a little weird, but it’ll help.

If you are in class eleventh or twelfth, it’s a high time for you, start preparing for your next exam, for six months later, right now itself. Being consistent always helps. Dedicate at least two hours of your daily time to the written exam preparation. Come on, I mean, it’s just two hours from a whole lot of 24 hours! If it doesn’t work for you, start with studying one hour daily till you get the grip.

If you are a twelfth passed out, DO NOT TAKE A DROP. This is my sole advice to the people who think of studying the same syllabus over for one more time will help them again to crack those written test(s). How can you think of clearing the written by studying for one whole year again while you couldn’t do it during your regular studies?

My personal advice here is to go with Plan B; to join a graduation course and parallelly prepare for your upcoming exams. To select a graduation course of your choice, introspect yourselves and find your hobbies and dreams apart from defence. If not, then think of what you like apart from defence and go for it. If you are not among those hundreds selected from lacs of applications, you can proceed with your Plan B.

You get a lot of opportunities in Plan B, from Direct Entries to UPSC and AFCAT entries.

And still, god forbid, if you couldn’t make it to the forces (let’s be a bit practical here), you can go ahead with your dreams you liked apart from defence.

If you still have any queries regarding what to do next, you can get in touch with me by dropping a message through fb. I hope I could help you out with that.

Good Luck!

Air Force Chief ” Will Move Family Of Victim To IAF Area For Protection!”

0
Indian air force Delhi beef murder

Terming as “unfortunate” the lynching of a serving air warrior’s father over rumours of eating beef, IAF chief Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha said they are looking at the possibility of moving the family to an Air Force area. Asserting that such acts cannot be accepted, Raha said senior officers were in touch with Corporal Mohammad Sartaj and his family.

“Unfortunate incident or accident I would say. It is unfortunate that a serving Air Force personnel’s family has been affected resulting in death in the family. We are already in touch (with the family),” he said on Saturday while replying to questions at his annual news conference ahead of Air Force Day. “Whatever protection is required, we are giving it to him. We are trying to move (them) to some Air Force area. We are with him and our people are there to assist the family,” he said. IAF sources said Sartaj is currently posted in Chennai and efforts are on to either enable the rest of the family to move there or transfer him to an area where his family can be.

Sartaj’s father Aqlakh was beaten to death and his 22-year-old brother Danish was critically injured by a 200-strong mob which barged into their house on Monday night following rumours that the family had consumed cow meat. Raha said he is trying to meet Sartaj himself to take care of his and the family’s welfare.

Asked if he would be writing to the government in this regard, Raha said, “Writing to the state government or central government, I think is superfluous because everybody has understood in the government that such things cannot be accepted. Adequate actions are being taken at the government level, both central as well as in the state,” he said. He said whenever there is a security problem concerning any armed forces personnel, the force gets in touch with local authorities. “We write to them, we interact with them. Our local Air Force police interacts with them to provide protection to any armed forces personnel,” he said. Indian air force Delhi beef murder

Two main accused arrested

The Uttar Pradesh police on Saturday arrested two main accused — Shivam and Vishal — in connection with the Dadri lynching case. The total number of accused arrested in Dadri lynching has gone up to 10.

On Monday night, following rumours of cow slaughter, 50-year-old Mohammad Ikhlaq was killed by a mob in Greater Noida’s Bisada village just outside his house. As tension gripped the village and spread to nearby areas, another mob went on the rampage on Tuesday morning in Ooncha Amirpur — barely 5km from Bisada — demanding death penalty for those involved in cow slaughter.

Iqlakh’s family had alleged that Vishal forced the local temple priest to announce that cow was slaughtered and stored in their house. Earlier, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and some local Congress leaders were stopped from entering Bishada village to meet family Iqlakh by the villagers.

Police said the situation in the village had turned tense as women in the village had objected to presence of media and some people pelted stones at them. In view of the protests, entry to visitors was stopped and the administration was trying to pacify the agitated villagers, police said. “Once the situation becomes normal, visitors will be allowed entry,” they said.

Peeved at being stopped outside the village, Kejriwal, who was accompanied by some party leaders, questioned whey he was stopped from meeting the family when leaders like Asaduddin Owaisi and Mahesh Sharma were allowed.

“We are stopped by police and admin. Mahesh Sharma and Owaisi not stopped yest. Then why me? I am most peace loving. Want 2 just meet Ikhlaq’s family (sic),” the Delhi CM tweeted. AAP leaders claimed that police and administration officials stopped them and not villagers. Administration officials later took Kejriwal to NTPC guest house. A state Congress delegation led by Siraj Mehandi was also not allowed entry to Bishada village on.

The district administration said they have sealed the village as victim’s son has appealed that they want peace in their hour of grief. District magistrate NP Singh had said on Friday that the victim’s son Sartaj had given a written request that the family does not want to meet anyone as continuous stream of visitors were causing harassment to them.

Petition Include equivalent streams of engineering for consideration in TGC 123

TGC-123 course was notified on September 26th 2015. But unlike the previous notifications, this did not include the equivalent streams which were considered earlier for application. All the equivalent streams are AICTE approved. But now they have removed that clause and also have mentioned that no equivalency if streams will be applicable. This for many is a last chance to appear for SSB interview and this should not be taken away merely because of non inclusion of a clause. I urge all the defence aspirants who are working day and night to improve themselves, to clear the exams, to get recommended by the SSBs to come forward and sign this petition. A precious chance will be not available to thousands if this goes unheard and unsigned. Please pass on this message to your friends, co-aspirants, teachers, officers of the forces and ask them to sign this petition for a cause, a cause which will make dreams of many come true.

2. Full Metal Jacket (1987)

INS Kochi: Jahi Shatrun Mahabaho

0
INS-Kochi-Jahi-Shatrun-Mahabaho

Indian armed forces have made itself prepared in all aspects and going beyond its capabilities and muscles. Defense news and blogs are filled with the news of INS Kochi. This warship has made India more strong and bold in its defense state. INS Kochi has gathered enough fame in a short span of its commissioning.

Introduction

The keel of INS Kochi was laid in 2005 and was launched in 2009. It is 10th destroyer in the Indian’s destroyers list. Its Moto is “Jahi Shatrun Mahabaho” which means ‘Armed to conquer the enemy’. The stealth guided missile destroyer belongs to Project 15-A. 164 meters long and 17 meters in width, displaces 7,500 tons. It can attain a Speed up to 30 knots or 56 km/hr. The ship is powered by four gas turbine generators and one diesel alternator, producing 4.5 MW

The ship has got stealth features which were achieved by shaping the hull and radar transparent deck fitting. The bow mounted sonar dome is introduced to enhance the sonar acoustic performance.

What’s Special About it?

It is the largest warship made by India itself. Directorate on naval design has designed it, which is an organization under the Indian navy and was built by Mazagon Dock Ship builders’ Ltd in Mumbai. The ship is second in Indian navy and is among the few that has Multi-Function Surveillance and Threat Alert Radar (MF-STAR) that will help Long Range Surface to Air Missiles (LR-SAM) in targeting their prey. MF-STAR and LR-SAM are jointly developed by India’s DRDO and Israel Aerospace Industries LtdINS-Kochi-Jahi-Shatrun-Mahabaho

Weapon System

The warship has some special weapon system with elite targeting and sensory system. It includes Brahmos surface to surface missile, Anti-sub torpedoes and rockets, 76mm and 30 mm guns (for a median and short range airborne or surface threats can be neutralized by these guns) and long range surface to air missile system. The feature of MF-STAR is only installed on Kolkata class ships. The warship can operate two Chetak or Seaking helicopters.

Same of its kind

INS Kolkata of the same class was commissioned in august last year and next warship INS Chennai is expected to be commissioned by the end of 2016.it belongs to Project 15-A. All ships of this project are named after famous ports

Other Warheads in Indian Navy

India’s vikramaditya and indigenously developed INS Vikrant are the two aircraft carriers in the Indian Navy. INS Komorata, recently commissioned, is an anti-submarine warfare corvette is also a matter of pride for India. Shiwalik class multirole frigates, first made in India stealth warships is a star on India’s collar.

Indian navy comes in top 10 navies of the world and is all set to go head in the list. With the commissioning of INS Kochi, India is ready to dominate the seas. As per the global scenario, where India’s close neighbors, Pakistan and china, are accelerating their defense modernization, Indian is also required to do so with much fast pace. China’s activities in South China Sea are enough for India to predict their aim and goals. INS Kochi is a step to make India stronger but India need more such steps to get over others.
