In a focused effort to enhance operational preparedness, Director General, CRPF, Shri G.P. Singh visited the Forward Operating Base (FOB) of 150 Battalion, CRPF, in Tekalgudiam, Sukma. The visit was aimed at evaluating troop readiness, operational effectiveness, and logistical support in the region.
During his visit, officers and personnel provided a comprehensive briefing on the current security dynamics, counterinsurgency operations, and strategic deployment of forces in the area. DG CRPF assessed the troops’ preparedness in tackling insurgency threats and reviewed the logistical capabilities and operational strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness in anti-Naxal operations.
Strengthening Forces in the Red Corridor
Sukma, known as a Naxal-affected region, remains a critical zone for CRPF’s counterinsurgency efforts. The visit reinforced the force’s commitment to maintaining a high level of operational readiness, ensuring seamless coordination and rapid response capabilities in challenging terrain.
DG CRPF commended the dedication and bravery of the troops, urging them to remain vigilant and mission-ready. The visit further emphasized CRPF’s unwavering commitment to ensuring national security and upholding the motto of ‘Nation First.’
