Kartavya Path, formerly known as Rajpath, is a significant location where India’s Republic Day Parade is annually held, symbolizing the nation’s journey from colonial rule to a sovereign democratic republic.
The selection of Cadet Ekta Bhagat to lead the contingent during this prestigious event not only marks a personal achievement but also underscores the progress and empowerment of women in military training and national ceremonies.
Ekta Bhagat’s role comes at a time when the NCC is expanding its reach, aiming to increase its cadet strength to 20 lakhs across the country.
