On the second day of his visit to Manipur, Lieutenant General A S Pendharkar, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Spear Corps, conducted extensive interactions with various stakeholders to review the ongoing security efforts in the region.
The Corps Commander engaged with senior leaders and troops of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Manipur Police, Indian Army, Assam Rifles, and other security agencies deployed in sensitive areas including Churachandpur, Thoubal, Kakching, Kangvai, Torbung Bangla, Tuibong, Mata, Khuga, and Molnom.
These interactions aimed at reinforcing coordination and ensuring operational effectiveness across security forces.
In addition to these engagements, Lt Gen Pendharkar met with ex-servicemen from various districts. Acknowledging their invaluable contributions to nation-building, he expressed gratitude for their service and emphasized the collective need for the restoration of peace and normalcy in the state.
