Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, AVSM, Army Commander of the Southern Command, recently conducted an official visit to Headquarters Telangana and Andhra Sub Area in Secunderabad.
The visit focused on assessing the formation’s training and administrative preparedness, with the Army Commander commending the proactive efforts of all ranks in maintaining high standards of operational readiness.
During his visit, Lt Gen Seth also reviewed ongoing infrastructural improvements aimed at enhancing troop welfare, recognizing the initiatives taken to strengthen both operational capabilities and overall infrastructure for the benefit of the personnel.
In addition to his visit to the military formation, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth called on the Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, Shri Jishnu Dev Varma, at the Raj Bhawan. During this meeting, the Army Commander briefed the Governor on various initiatives designed to foster civil-military bonhomie.
He highlighted collaborative efforts undertaken to reinforce mutual trust and community engagement between the military and civilian populations in the region. The Hon’ble Governor expressed his full support for these initiatives, emphasizing the importance of unity and cooperation between the defense forces and the civilian administration.
