At the ongoing Army Commanders’ Conference (ACC), General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), presented the prestigious ‘Aviation Flight Safety Award’ to honor excellence in flight safety.
This award was established to recognize the outstanding contributions of individuals and teams committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety and reliability in Army aviation operations.
To ensure fair competition, the award was divided into two categories: single-engine and multiple-engine helicopter units.
The 663 Army Aviation Squadron emerged as the top unit in the single-engine category, while the 257 Army Aviation Squadron took first place in the multiple-engine category.
These awards underscore the Indian Army’s dedication to promoting rigorous flight safety standards, reflecting the commitment and professionalism of Army Aviation personnel.
