Lieutenant General Anindya Sengupta, GOC-in-C of Central Command, conducted a detailed visit to the Headquarters of the Jharkhand and Bihar Sub Area and the Bihar Regiment Centre in Danapur. During his visit, Lt Gen Sengupta assessed various aspects of the operational readiness and the infrastructural advancements that are critical to maintaining the combat effectiveness and logistical support of the units. Lt Gen Sengupta also took the opportunity to interact with the Agniveers, the young soldiers part of India’s transformative military recruitment scheme.
