National Defence Academy Inaugurates Indigenous ‘Super Dimona Static Simulator’

In a significant advancement in training technology for Air Force cadets, Vice Admiral Gurcharan Singh, AVSM, NM, Commandant of the National Defence Academy (NDA), inaugurated the ‘Super Dimona Static Simulator’ at the Air Force Training Team facilities. This state-of-the-art simulator, developed indigenously by the Software Development Institute of the Indian Air Force, represents a major leap in training methodologies at the NDA.

The Super Dimona Static Simulator is designed to provide realistic, hands-on experience to cadets, simulating various flight scenarios and conditions that pilots might encounter.
