In a significant development for the Indian Navy, 420 Agniveers, including 60 women, have successfully completed their professional training at INS Valsura. They are now ready to serve as fleet maintainers, specializing in the electrical and electronic systems onboard Navy ships.
During the review of the divisions, the Commanding Officer emphasized the importance of adhering to the Navy’s core values of duty, honor, and courage.
In addition, the Course Completion Ceremony for the 3rd batch of Agniveers was held at the Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology (NIAT) on August 3, 2024.
Commodore R Rajesh, the director of the institute, served as the chief guest at the event. He awarded trophies and certificates to Agniveers who exhibited academic excellence during their training.
These milestones highlight the Indian Navy’s commitment to integrating Agniveers into its operational framework, enhancing the technical capabilities of its fleet.
The successful completion of such rigorous training ensures that the new batch of Agniveers is well-prepared to contribute effectively to the Navy’s missions and uphold its high standards of service and professionalism.
