The event marked the 100-year milestone of Cdr Sriramulu, who served the Navy for 35 years and is an acclaimed sportsman.

Cdr Sriramulu has an impressive athletic record, having won over 50 medals in national and international events, including 6 gold and 3 silver medals at the World Masters Athletics Championships.
