Historic First Flight of Agnibaan SOrTeD Successfully Completed from India’s First Private Launchpad

Chennai-based start-up Agnikul Cosmos successfully launched its indigenously built rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Thursday morning. This milestone also marked the inaugural rocket flight from Dhanush, Sriharikota’s first private launchpad, which was designed and developed by the Agnikul Cosmos team.

In a monumental achievement, the first flight of Agnibaan SOrTeD, Mission 01, has been successfully completed from India’s first and only private launchpad within the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC-SHAR) at Sriharikota.
