In a fitting tribute to his service, Meru will spend his retirement at the Dogs Retirement Home at the Remount and Veterinary Corps (RVC) Center in Meerut. The Ministry of Defence has recently permitted retired service dogs to travel in AC first class with their handlers, and Meru made his journey in this newly granted privilege.
