Indian Army’s Eastern Command Hosts NCC Cadets for ‘A Day in the Army’

Panagarh Military Station: In a bid to ignite the spirit of adventure and instill a sense of pride in the hearts of Indian youth, the Indian Army’s Eastern Command, in collaboration with Brahmastra Corps, organized a special visit for Senior Wing Cadets from Bardhaman and Kalyani group National Cadet Corps (NCC) Headquarters at Panagarh Military Station.

The visit, themed ‘A Day in the Army’, aimed to showcase the vibrancy and pride of Army life while fostering a deeper connection with the nation’s defenders.

The event, organized under the banner of #IndianArmy’s ongoing initiative to engage with the youth and promote a life less ordinary, was met with enthusiastic participation from the cadets.

Stepping onto the hallowed grounds of the Panagarh Military Station, the cadets were greeted with a myriad of activities and demonstrations meticulously planned to provide them with a glimpse into the life of a soldier.

From weapon handling drills to obstacle course challenges, the cadets immersed themselves in the essence of Army life, guided by seasoned soldiers and officers who shared their experiences and insights with passion and fervor.

The cadets, wide-eyed with excitement, eagerly embraced each activity, eager to learn and absorb as much as they could from the immersive experience.
