In a significant development aimed at enhancing the living standards of Defence Service Corps (DSC) personnel and their families, a new housing project was inaugurated at Naval Station, Karanja, on March 6.
RAdm Rajat Kapoor, the Chief Staff Officer (Personnel & Administration) at Headquarters Western Naval Command (HQWNC), presided over the inauguration ceremony of this commendable initiative.
The housing project is designed to accommodate 140 married DSC personnel, providing them with improved living conditions. It features a well-structured tower dedicated to Junior Commissioned Officers and two towers allocated for Other Ranks. .Each of these residential buildings is equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable and conducive living environment for the personnel and their families.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in the efforts to support and value the sacrifices and contributions of the DSC personnel, who play a crucial role in the defense sector. By addressing the housing needs of these personnel, the project not only aims to boost their morale but also to foster a sense of security and well-being among their families.
