This year, 308 students – including six international students – passed out from the premier institute. The parade was held a day after receiving their academic degrees from the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Speaking to reporters after reviewing the Passing out Parade of the 132nd course of the National Defence Academy (NDA) at Khadakwasla near Pune, Admiral Lanba said efforts are being made towards tri-service synergy and jointmanship in sectors besides intelligence.
“I joined NDA in January 1974 as a part of the Golf Squadron. As far as I go, Golf Squadron is the best squadron in the National Defence Academy. I had a great innings of three years in the Golf Squadron. It is a unique squadron with unique customs and traditions. And I have happy memories as its member,” he added.
