Flight Lieutenant Drisya Nath, a native of Palakkad in Kerala, is among the four officers who will lead the Indian Air Force (IAF) contingent in the Republic Day parade at the majestic Rajpath. The leader of the 144 member contingent will be Squadron Leader Attal Singh.
He will be accompanied by supernumerary officers — Flag Officer Tripti Chaturvedi, Flt Lt S S Mythraye and Flt Lt Drisya Nath.
Drisya is the daughter of Kanjikodenative T Raveendranath and Komalavalli. An engineering graduate, Drisya left her job at IBM to join the Air Force. India’s indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas will make its debut run in the Republic Day Parade.
Tejas will lead the contingent of aircraft.
